Abstract:
There is described an absorbent article made of a non-woven fabric whose integrity is ensured by thermoplastic continuous filaments which have been distributed to form a sprinkle texture and which contain, in embedded form, hydrophilic or oleophilic fibres in chopped form with or without swellable particles. There is also described a single-stage method for making the absorbent article.
