Abstract:
PURPOSE:To achieve the high strength reinforcement for hollow steel shaft by forming a reinforcing shaft with the inclusion of reinforcing fiber cloth with the state of with access to along the nearly bellows shaped inner peripheral face of a hollow steel shaft. CONSTITUTION:A hollow steel shaft 101 is inserted into the through hole of the annular cam pieces 120, 121 prepared in advance and the cam pieces 120, 121 and hollow steel shaft 101 are combined by expanding this hollow steel shaft 101. A cylindrical reinforcing fiber cloth 150 is inserted to the inner periphery of the hollow steel shaft 101, also the balloon tool 80 formed by such elastic body as rubber is inserted into the cloth. The cloth is then expanded by applying the inner pressure on the balloon tool 80, profiled to the inner peripheral face of the bellows shaped hollow steel pipe and the balloon tool 80 is shrinked thereafter. The reinforcing fiber cloth 150 is formed along the inner peripheral face of the hollow steel pipe. The cam shaft 100 charged with the cloth is then fitted to injection device and the reinforcing shaft is formed by pouring a filler resin.
