Abstract:
In a device for the needling of a felt, there are provided at least one needle board (1) movable up and down and having needle rows staggered relative to one another and a lamellar rake (3) which forms a felt support and the lamellae of which are located between the needle rows. So that the needle density can be increased, the lamellar rake (3) consists of a ribbed perforated plate (5), of which the holes (8) for the passage of the needles have a diameter exceeding the gap width between the ribs (6).
