PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of heat accumulation, and to reduce floor space occupied by distinctly separating the inside of a heat accumulating tank into upper and lower sections as a high temperature tank and a low temperature tank by a baffle plate to form the inside of the tank to a vertical multilayer type while encasing and arranging pipings to upper and lower sections in the heat accumulating tank. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a vertical type heat accumulating tank 1 for brine consisting of one tank is partitioned into a plurality of layers by baffle plates 4a-4d while the temperatures of an uppermost layer 5e and a lowermost layer 5a are measured by temperature sensors 6e, 6a, and internal pipings 9, 14 disposed into the heat accumulating tank 1 are used as pipings which must be opened to the uppermost layer 5e. Accordingly, the efficiency of heat accumulation can be improved remarkably by a proper temperature gradient as the quantity of heat accumulation is easily made sure and grasped with small froor space occupied while heat-proof and waterproof facilities to the pipings 9, 14, which must be opened to the uppermost layer 5e, maintenance cost for these facilities, a scaffold at the site, a piping rack, etc. can be unnecessitated. Consequently, the economical large-sized heat accumulating tank for brine of the excellent efficiency of heat accumulation can be formed.
