Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to effectively take out the heat accumulated in a heat-accumulating material, by a method wherein a latent heat type heat-accumulating material and a heat-transmitting medium are sealed in a container in a latent heat type heat accumulator while leaving a space at an upper part of the container, and a heat radiator, a liquid receiver for a condensate of the medium and an ejector mechanism are provided in the space. CONSTITUTION:The latent heat type heat-accumulating material, e.g., sodium acetate trihydrate and the heat-transmitting medium, e.g., flon-113 are sealed in the contianer 1, leaving a space part A at an upper part of the container 1. When accumulation of heat is completed, the interior of the container 1 is filled with a molten liquid 2 of the heat-accumulating material and a saturated vapor of the heat-transmitting medium 3, 4. When release of heat is started by passing cold water as a cooling medium 200 into the radiator 6 in the above condition, the vapor 5 of the medium present in the space part A is condensed on a pipe wall of the radiator 6, and cold water 200 is heated by the latent heat of evaporation of the vapor 5. The condensate 4 of the medium dropping is collected by the liquid receiver 100, and slidingly flows through a conduit 120. Accordingly, the convection of the condensate 4 in a heat-accumulating material packing part 13 is smoothly effected, and the latent heat of melting of the molten liquid 2 can be effectively transferred to the radiator 6.
