PURPOSE:To detect specific cells with good accuracy by dispensing a constant amt. of the blood in which a phosphorescence generating material is incorporated, diluting the same by an electrolyte in the constant amt., supplying the liquid to an optical cell, supplying the electrolyte under specified pressure from the side part and irradiating a luminous flux of a specified width thereon then detecting phosphorescence. CONSTITUTION:A blood 13 added with a reagent to be labeled with phosphorescence is fed to a blood detector 14 from a sampling nozzle 11 by a squeezing pump 3 and after detection, the pump 3 is stopped and a specified amt. is dispensed by a metering valve 16 of a selector valve 1. The dispensed blood 13 is discharged together with an electrolyte 10 through a flow passage 18 to a liquid container 19 by a cylinder pump 5 and is stirred by the compressed air from a compressor 21. A specified amt. of the blood dispensed through a valve 31, a selector valve 2 and a metering valve 23 is connected to a flow passage 25 and an electrolyte 28 is pressured. The blood is forced into a photocell 26 after specified time. The blood flows through the inside of the cell 26 while the blood is finely restricted by the sleeve of the liquid 28. The blood is subjected to photometry by a detector 12 during the passage through the inside of the luminous flux from a light source 20, by which the kind of the cells is analyzed from the antigen-antibody reaction.
