Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of recovery of bringing a soln. contg. dissolved Mo, U and V prepd. by leaching with a mineral acid into contact with an ion exchange resin and by adjusting the soln. to a specified pH so as to separate and recover the metals. CONSTITUTION:Coexisting Mo, U and V are leached out with a mineral acid and solid-liq. separation is carried out. The resulting soln. is brought into contact with an ion exchange resin to adsorb Mo, etc. The soln. is then adjusted to 0.5-3pH and brought into contact with an ion exchange resin to adsorb U. The soln. is further adjusted to 6-9pH to separate and recover V. The resin having the adsorbed Mo, etc. is treated with an acid or alkali, and a soln. prepd. by elution is adjusted to 8-10pH to separate and recover the Mo. A soln. prepd. by elution from the resin having the adsorbed U is adjusted to >=6pH to separate and recover the U.
