Abstract:
In an apparatus for locating an object by a scanning light beam, correlation of light beam movement with electrical timing is provided by determining the magnitude of an angular difference (S) between the electrical system and a line (3) through the scanning axis for use as a correction factor. The correction factor is calculated using a template (11) positioned in the scanned area and having several predetermined targets (15 - 17).
