Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0355147
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
Two tensioning elements, passing on each side of the boot heel, are attached swivellably to a heel-tightener for safety ski bindings with an integrated rotary plate and a rotary plate supporting the boot heel. Said tensioning elements bear a movable sole-holder. The rotary plate and the ski brake are separate. Provided behind the rotary plate is a horizontal transverse axle, which is fixed to the ski, for a pedal of the ski brake, to which pedal at least one lever, constructed as a brake spur, is linked. In order to construct and design such a heel-tightener in such a way that the risk of jamming is eliminated, the pedal (14) is connected to a coupler (13), linked to the transverse axle (12), via a swivel-displacement bearing (15, 16). A second transverse axle is constructed between the rotary plate (1) and the transverse axle (12), parallel to the latter, by a bend (21) in the brake spur (17, 18). Provided on the underside of the pedal (14) for each brake spur is a guide surface which moves the brake spur after swivelling into a position parallel to the ski when the pedal (14) is swivelled into a position parallel to the ski towards the centre of the ski.
