Abstract:
A compound of the formula:wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different and each represents hydrogen or methyl and X isprovided that when R1 is hydrogen, R2 is hydrogen or methyl and X isand when R1 is methyl, R2 is methyl and X isis produced by cultivating a microorganism belonging to the Streptomyces in a culture medium. Said compound is useful as an antimicrobial agent and so forth.
