Abstract:
1. A process for the selective hydrogenation of unsaturated compounds bearing nitrogen-containing reducible groups in homogeneous phase, the nitrogen-containing reducible groups remaining intact, characterized in that a compound corresponding to the following formula RuH2n L5-n in which L is a phosphane or arsane and n is 1 or 2, is used as catalyst.
