Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0378550
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform high-efficient gasification, by a method wherein, by using two hydrogen occlusion alloys having different thermal equilibrium pressures, a condensate coolant after defrosting is vaporized. CONSTITUTION:During cooling operation of a cooling device, a 3-way switching valve 3 is switched so as to intercouple a first port 3a and third port 3c and open an on-off valve 4 and a suction main valve 13. A hot gas coolant delivered from a compressor 1 flows to a coil 10, and heats a hydrogen occlusion alloy 8 on the the low pressure side. This heating exhausts hydrogen occluded in an alloy 8 and causes flow of the hydrogen gas through a piping 18 to a container 17, and causes reaction of the gas with a hydrogen occlusion alloy 16 to the gas thereby. The alloy is cooled by a cooling coil 19. Meanwhile, during defrosting, a gas coolant from a compressor 1 is fed to a cooler 7, cooling of the hydrogen occlusion alloy 8 on the lower pressure side is performed, and since hydrogen is moved from the alloy 16 to the alloy 8, the alloy 8 generates heat to gasify the coolant.
