Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the maintenance work by providing a light pen for a display device equipped with a touch screen and indicating a display picture with the light pen to correct coordinates of the touch screen. CONSTITUTION:The display device consists of a data processor 1, a display controller 2', a picture display device 3, a touch screen 4, etc. A light pen 10 is connected to the display controller 2', and a position correcting device 11 is provided. Indicated coordinate data due to the light pen 10 which is applied from the display controller 2' and position data from a touch screen controller 5 are inputted to the position correcting device 11, and the device 11 executes the correcting operation and calculates the quantity of correction on the screen 4 and outputs it to the data processor 1. Position data applied from the touch screen controller 5 is corrected in accordance with data of this quantity of correction to discriminate an actual picture indication position.
