Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a sampling tube appropriate for use with a blood sample and a physiological or chem. sample by using a container having wall made of a transparent plastic non-permeable to air. CONSTITUTION: An annular tongue part 21 of a plag cap 18 has a predetermined thickness and durometer value for ensuring sealing of a tube 10. An injection- molded crown part 28 enables penetration of a cannula or a needle and holding therein under hermetically sealed condition and reestablishment of sealing function of the penetrated crown 28 after the cannula or needle is taken out. Butyl rubber having a Shore indention hardness range of A40-60, crosslinked on polypropylene and mechanically vulcanized is appropriate. Outside skirt part of the plag 18 is prepd. of polyethylene or polypropylene.
