Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to aim at regenerating a particulate trapping filter even though the temperature of exhaust gas is low, by supplying a fuel additive in accordance with the supply amount of fuel into a fuel tank and by previously dispersing catalyst in particulates so that they are mixed together. CONSTITUTION:A particulate trapping filter 12 is disposed in an exhaust passage 11 in a Diesel-engine 1, and traps particulates from a fuel chamber 2 in the Diesel-engine. A fuel additive is supplied into a fuel tank 3 in accordance with the supply amount of fuel into the fuel tank 3 in order to mix the fuel additives into the particulates. Chloride of Pb, Cu, Ca, etc. is used as the fuel additive, which is trapped in the trapping filter 12 in such a condition that it is contained in the particulates.
