Abstract:
PURPOSE:To direct a tool to both longitudinal and cross directions and make a work machinable with only setting the work to a table a time, by setting one end of the base to a spindle head, connecting one end of an arm to the other end, and making the arm rotatable at the specified angle to the base. CONSTITUTION:One end of a base 25, 25 is set to a spindle head 11, while one end of an arm 28 is connected to the other end of the base 25, and the arm 28 is rotatable at 180 degrees to the base 25. And, a tool 61 is set to the other end side of the arm 28, and this tool 61 is rotated with spindle rotation. Therefore, setting the arm 28 so as to cause the tool 61 to be horizontal, if this tool 61 is rotated, a side face W1 of a work W is machinable. In addition, a servomotor 63 is operated, positioning the arm 28 in making it rotate as far as 180 degrees from the said state, and in this state, if the tool 61 is rotated, an upper surface W2 of the work W is machinable.
