Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simply and effectively monitor the vacuum state of a vacuum layer of a rotor during rotation by providing a vapor phase coolant flowmeter in a vapor phase coolant exhaust tube of a coolant supply/exhaust unit. CONSTITUTION:A vapor phase coolant flowmeter 21 is provided in the midway of an exhaust tube 20 of a coolant supply/exhaust unit 11 provided at the end of a coupling shaft 3b of a superconductive rotor. The output signal of the flowmeter 21 is inputted to a recorder 22, an warning unit for generating an alarm when exceeding the prescribed warning point flow rate and a trip unit 24 for stopping the operation of a superconductive rotary electric machine when exceeding the prescribed trip point flow rate.
