Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I . EXAMPLE:2-Methylene-1,4,6,9-tetraoxaspiro[4,4]nonane and a 2-alkyl-7-methylene- 1,4,6,9-tetraoxaspiro[4,4]nonane. USE:A polymerizable monomer. Useful as a raw material for a molding material, adhesive, coating compound, etc. Easily obtainable by using an inexpensive raw material. PREPARATION:A compound shown by the formula II is reacted with 1.1-5 times the molar quantity of an alkali(e.g., sodium alcoholate, etc.) in a solvent such as N,N-dimethylformamide, pyridine, etc. at 0-60 deg.C, and dehydrohalogenated to give a compound shown by the formula I .
