Abstract:
PURPOSE:To permit the use even at the place having a large depth of water by liquefaction-separating only carbon dioxide from the excessive exhaust gas in a low temperature cooler by a pump for discharging the liquefied carbon dioxide, not using a compressor for compressing the excessive exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 8 inhales the exhaust gas slightly more than the excessive exhaust gas quantity on the max. load of an engine body 1 from a gas-water separator 19, and said exhaust gas is introduced into a low- temperature cooler 24. The quantity of liquefied carbon dioxide gas is controlled by a secondary-pressure adjusting valve 28. When the liquefied quantity of carbon dioxide gas reduces, and the pressure of the recycle exhaust gas increases, the flow rate is reduced by reducing the passage area of the secondary-pressure adjusting valve 28. When the liquefaction rate of carbon dioxide becomes high, and the pressure of the recycle exhaust gas lowers, the passage area is increased to increase the flow rate of the secondary-pressure adjusting valve 28.
