Abstract:
A shoe (1) for sports, leisure or rehabilitation purposes has a Bowden wire as a tensioning element and an instep shield (2) with two lateral closure tabs (3,4), attached to the forward end (5). These parts (2,3,4) are made of PA, polyimide or PU. The uppers (8) are made of leather, artificial leather or a woven textile material, and the parts (7) adjoining are made of velour leather. A tongue (10) is arranged below the side parts (7), made of PE foam, PU or EVA. A Bowden wire (19) of steel or plastic in the sheath (20) passes around fixed turning points (21a,21b) on the instep shield and on the tabs and compressible sections (22), designed as bellows. The central tightening clasp (12) is turned to apply the closure. Grooves (15) make the instep shield more flexible.
