Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a high separation coefficient and high adsorption and desorption rates for boric acid, by using the titled anion exchange resin heated to a specified temperature in a specified medium in a free amine form. CONSTITUTION:The anion exchange resin has an aminopolyol group of the formula, wherein n is an integer of 1-6, R is H, a 1-5C alkyl group or -CH2- (CHOH)m-CH2OH, wherein m is 0 or 1-6, as a functional group, and is heated. The anion exchange resin is heated to 60-200 deg.C in water, an alkaline solution, a (poly)alkyleneglycol, an alcohol amine or glycerin, in a free amine form. The anionic exchange resin has a high separation coefficient and high adsorption and desorption rates for boric acid.
