Abstract:
PURPOSE:To raise the responsieness of the captioned device its acceleration by car providing an acceleration pump interlocking with a throttle valve on a diaphragm type buretor. CONSTITUTION:Fuel for a carburetor 33 reaches a valve 15 form an inlet 5 via a diaphragm type pump 3. When the negative pressure of a venturi 30 is transmitted from a main nozzle 29 into the chamber 16 of a diaphragm 18 via an orifice 27, the diaphragm 18 is deflected due to said negative pressure to cause a lever 20 to be turned around fulcrum 19, allowing a valve 15 to be opened and thus the fuel to reach the inside of the chamber 16. Similarly, the fuel in the chamber 16 is supplied from the nozzle 29 due to the negative pressure of the venturi 30, and is replenished from the valve 15 into the chamber. The end part 38 of a piston 37 is allowed to make close contact with the notched type cam surface of the shaft 34 of a throttle valve 26 via a spring 39, and thereby the piston 37 is pushed up at the opening of the throttle valve 26, allowing the fuel within the chamber 36 to be injected from the nozzle 29 via a passage 43.
