Abstract:
In an X-ray image intensifier with an electrode system for focusing electrons, which are generated when X-ray radiation strikes an input fluorescent screen, onto an output fluorescent screen, the electrode system is very costly to manufacture since a special holder is required in each case for each electrode. The assembly time is increased because the electrodes must be adjusted. In an X-ray image intensifier according to the invention, the electrode system has an annular electrode (2, 3) which is held by an annular holder in that there is a clamping connection between the electrode (2, 3) and the holder.
