Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate or reduce ceiling of acceleration at a low speed gear position, by letting a governor line not exceed a heat load limit line at a high speed gear position, while letting the governor line exceed the heat load limit line at the low speed gear position. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 13 receives signals from a rotational speed sensor 14, a load sensor 15 for detecting engine load, a tempeature sensor 18 for detecting engine coolant temperature, and a gear position sensor 17 for detecting a gear position of a transmission 16. An output signal from the control unit 13 is applied to an actuator 11 for adjusting a fuel injection quantity. According to the operation of the control unit 13, a governor line delta at a fourth-speed position to be used for a long time does not exceed a heat load limit line Y, and governor lines alpha-gamma at lower speed positions, that is, first to third speed positions to be used for a relatively short time exceed the heat load limit line Y. In other words, a maximum rotational speed is increased to eliminate ceiling of acceleration.
