Abstract:
11 beta -Arylspirolactones in the steroid series of the general formula I in which R1 is with R and R meaning in each case alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms or R and R, with the inclusion of N, meaning a 5- or 6-membered saturated heterocyclic ring, it being possible for the ring to contain, besides N, also another hetero atom N, O or S, and the corresponding N-oxides, -SR with R meaning methyl, ethyl or phenyl and -OR with R meaning methyl, ethyl, propyl, methoxymethyl, allyl or beta -dimethylaminoethyl, R2 is a hydrogen atom, a methyl or ethyl group and or where the wavy lines &tilde&&tilde&&tilde& indicate that the substituent is in the alpha or beta position and is or , with M = K, Na or Li and R and R are each alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms Original abstract incomplete.
