Abstract:
A cutter supporting unit for a tyre grooving apparatus having a tyre supporting shaft and a cutter supporting unit which brings a cutter in or out of contact with a tyre held by the tyre supporting shaft, wherein that said cutter supporting unit is divided into a cutter holder (18) which holds the cutter (9) and a cutter supporting frame (14) to which the cutter holder (18) is connected removably. The unit largely reduces time and labor necessary for the cutter replacement and improves tyre grooving productivity.
