Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a track ball which can be used except for a horizontal state by giving a flat spring which operates in such a way that it presses the seal of the ball on a ball surface and presses the ball in the direction of a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:A part of the ball is exposed from a window provided at the upper surface of a case 6, and the ball 1 is supported by two rotary shafts 2 fitted in the case so that they are orthogonal. The doughnut-like seal 5 is provided in an aperture between the ball 1 and the window of the case 6 and the seal 5 prevents the dust and the like from entering. The flat spring 4 presses the seal 5 to the ball 1 so that the seal 5 is pressed by the ball 1 so as to effectively operate. Thus, the ball is used except for the horizontal state.
