Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a keyboard device which a user can easily use and to reduce erroneous input by defining the relation of a position in an input touch panel or a display flat display and an output code. CONSTITUTION:The user selects and inputs one key by touching the input touch panel 1. An input coordinate recognition part 4 recognizes an input coordinate which the user touches. A conversion part 6 obtains a segment by converting the input coordinate, refers to an output code buffer table 7 by using the segment and reads the output code which is correspondingly stored. Then, the output code is outputted to a host computer 9 as the output code corresponding to input (key) through a transmission/reception part 8. Thus, the key (key graphic) of the desired size and shape of the user can be defined to the desired position of the user. Thus, the (personal) keyboard device which the user can easily use by himself can be obtained and the erroneous recognition of the key can be reduced.
