Abstract:
PURPOSE:To inspect an electromagnetic pump easily by installing a sodium sealing valve near the electromagnetic pump in a suction piping and communicating a clearance between an outer tube and the suction piping on the inside of the outer tube and the space of a cover gas for a sodium tank by a pressure equalizing tube. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic pump 2 is disposed at a level lower than the bottom of a sodium tank 1, and a suction piping 23 from the electromagnetic pump 2 is connected to the bottom of the tank 1. An annulus clearance 27 between an outer tube 26 having double tube structure and the suction piping 23 is communicated with the space of a cover gas for the sodium tank 1 by a pressure equalizing tube 28. Sodium in the sodium tank 1 is transferred to a reactor vessel, etc., through a discharge piping 4 from the suction piping 23 by the driving force of the electromagnetic pump 2, and circulated into the sodium tank 1 from a return piping 6 again. A first sodium sealing valve 24 and a second sodium sealing valve 25 are mounted in series near the electromagnetic pump 2 in the suction piping 23.
