Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control the transmission and reception of data and the transmission of a control instruction by transmitting/receiving changeover information of the transmission/reception direction of data, information specifying the kind of data and the data information in this order during one transfer. CONSTITUTION:A main controller 1 sends the changeover information in the data transmission/reception direction, start information to plural peripheral equipments 2. In case of the transmission mode, the master controller 1 sends the information specifying the kind of data, data information and stop information. In case of the reception mode, the master controller sends the changeover information of the data transmission/reception and start information and brings the data signal line into a high impedance state to await the data transmission from the peripheral equipment. After a prescribed time elapses, the data signal line restores the control of the main controller. The changeover between the transmission mode and reception mode is attained by one transfer by providing the changeover information in the direction of data transmission reception in addition to the data information in the transmission format from the master controller in this way.
