Abstract:
A process is disclosed for transmitting data in a data processing system with distributed computing nodes (N) interconnected by a serial data bus (BUS) among which objects are exchanged. An object transmitted on a bus is checked at a computing node by several acceptance filters (AF1, AF2, AFm), each of which being associated to at least a receiving buffer (RB1, RBn-1, RBn). After the receiving buffer, the object is stored in a memory (M) associated to a central unit. By hierarchically arranging the acceptance filters, by randomly associating them to the receiving buffers and by defining them as band pass filters or stop filters, it is possible to retransmit in a very flexible way only the desired objects, and thus to obtain an optimal configuration for the administration of the objects of a computing node.
