Abstract:
In a chamber-type doctor blade (1) for a short inking unit in a rotary printing machine, the ink is to be supplied and discharged in its entirety in order to avoid ink residues or accumulations of water and air in the chamber-type doctor blade. This is achieved according to the invention in that, between the ink supply (4) and the ink discharge (6), there is arranged a profile body (17) which extends in the axial direction with respect to the engraved roller and, with its outer surfaces against the components (11, 16, 2, 14, 9, 21) enclosing it, forms a gap which tapers in the direction in which the ink circulates.
