Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the heat radiating efficiency by fitting an inside base made of Cu in the center fit hole of an outside base made of covar, and joining them together to constitute a base. CONSTITUTION:An inside base 36 made of Cu is joined with an outside base 34 made of covar, and a base 32 is formed. Because the base 32 is embodied in double structure in this manner and because both a ring-shaped lower case 20 and the outside base 34 are formed from covar, there is no fear of deformation due to difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion, even though the lower case 20 is Ag brazed at 800 deg.C to the outside base 34 followed by cooling to the room temp. Further the heat radiating efficiency to a heat sink is enhanced, because the inside base 36 joined with the outside base 34 is made of Cu having good thermal conductivity, which allows enhancing of the cooling performance of Peltier element 6. Thus the heat efficiency can be enhanced to a great extent without causing any deformation in the vessel.
