Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make adjustment unnecessary even in case of input of different CT picture data by controlling a window level and a window width in accordance with additional information in picture data to convert a density. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 1 performs control when picture data to which window information is added is transferred to a picture display device. Picture data whose beginning window information is added to is inputted to a memory 7 through an interface 2, and only picture data is stored there, and window information is detected by a detecting means 3 and is inputted to a window level control part 5 and a window width control part 6 through a window information carrying means 4. Outputs of these parts 5 and 6 are inputted to a density converting means 10, and the window processing of picture data read out from the memory 7 is peformed, and the output is displayed as a picture on a display means 12 such as a CRT display or the like through a mixer 11. Thus, adjustments of the window level and the window width at each time of input of different CT picture data are made unnecessary.
