Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of white balance adjusting points so as to reduce the cost by deciding the clip value of a clip circuit or the value or the point of inflection of the input-output characteristic of a nonlinear conversion circuit by means of a control output selected in the indoor or outdoor mode. CONSTITUTION:It is natural to adjust the while balance of a picture so that the picture can be seen a little bluish under a light source. A level shifting circuit 19 is constituted so that (VR3+VRshift) which is obtained by adding VRshift to an input VR3 can be outputted and another level shifting circuit 20 is constituted so that (VB3+VBshift) which is obtained by adding VBshift to an input VB3 can be outputted. When constant-voltage generating circuits 17 and 18 are adjusted, VRclip and VBclip can be adjusted and, moreover, VR1 and VB1 can also be adjust in addition to the original VR3 and VB3.
