Abstract:
The invention concerns a liquid-crystal display device comprising a liquid-crystal display (10), a light source in the form of a fluorescent lamp (12), and a heat source (14) in thermal contact with the lamp. In order to ensure uniform and rapid adjustment of the temperature of the fluorescent lamp (12) to the optimum operating value, the heat source is in the form of a temperature-controlled film heating element (14).
