Abstract:
Described is a vehicle brake system in which a brake pressure which is dependent on the output signal from the braking value sensor (1) is applied to the brakes (9) and in which the applied brake pressure (7) is also made dependent on the vehicle load so that the pressure, in dependence on the load, is limited to a partial pressure (Ptb). If the braking value sensor (1) is fully or almost fully actuated, the system switches over to a special control mode in which a brake-pressure increase (7b) over and above the limit (Ptb) takes place.
