Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable particular information to be projected by making one of No.1 and No.2 optical means a hologram diffraction means in which the light of a predetermined wave length component is diffracted while being reflected whereby making possible the luminous display with the predetermined wave length component. CONSTITUTION:When a car speed information is selected by a selection switch 45, a drive circuit 49 indicates only car speed with the indicating light of a wave length component in a green color system out of information indicated on a CRT 1. And only said information on car speed is diffracted while being reflected toward a hologram lens 3 by a hologram diffraction board 2. In this case, as a diffraction efficiency is 50%, the car speed information can be identified by a driver with the light dimmed by 50% at the ordinary position of a meter. On the other hand, the car speed information diffracted while being reflected is diffracted while being reflected again by the hologram lens 3 so as to be projected within the field of the driver's view. Accordingly, the car speed information in a green color system can be identified by the driver without shifting his visual point to the CRT 1.
