Abstract:
PURPOSE:To adjust environment of culture soil in a flowerpot to an approximately ideal state by making a cylindrical material of synthetic resin foam into a cubic form having held space such as spiral form, processing the cubic material into small pieces and blending the small pieces with culture soil. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical material 2 of synthetic resin foam having about 5-10mm diameter is made into a cubic form having held space 3 such as spiral or volute form to give small pieces 1... of form wherein the whole shape can be freely deformed. The small pieces are blended with culture soil E and packed into a flowerpot to adjust space of the culture soil E to an approximately ideal state of water retention condition, degree of ventilation and heat insulation.
