Abstract:
Contact frame for an IC card reader comprising contact elements for connecting to the IC card. It further include, two electrical contact strips (26, 28) carried by this frame and constituting a terminating contact (5). One of these strips, the rest strip (28) is coupled to the frame in such a way that its stationary position is defined relative to the frame, whereas the other, the moving strip (26), is stressed by an elastic force in a direction opposite the motion of insertion of a card into the reader. It is arranged so that the inserted card bears against it and drives it in an actuating motion, opposed to the elastic force.
