Use of a compound of formula (I), in which W is -(CH2)4, (CH2)5, -(CH2)2O(CH2)2 or -(CH2)2S(CH2)2, n is 0 to 6; m is 0 to 3; A is a bond, -CH=CH-, -C=C-, oxygen, sulphur or NR<1>; R<1> is hydrogen, C1-8alkyl or phenylC1-4alkyl; and Ar is aryl or heteroaryl, each of which may be optionally substituted; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as a therapeutic agent. Certain novel compounds of formula (I) and processes for preparing them are also described.
