Abstract:
A self-spinning electro-spark linear cutting machine, in which the electrode wire is allowed to make a high rate self-spinning while making a linear movement by means of the differential rotation rates between the main shaft and the wire spool and the sequential wire arranging device. The application of the present invention has the following effects: the permissible thickness of cutting is increased; the duty ratio of the impulse power is reduced; the cutting speed is increased; the working stability and precision and cutting surface fineness are improved due to the chip removal is done in parallel on the whole cutting surface; the electrode wire distortion can be prevented; the taper cutting can be achieved; the structure is simple and reasonable, the cost is not increased, the efficiency of the whole unit is much more enhanced; and the unit has a digital control grinding function such that one unit can be used for multiple purposes.
