Abstract:
The invention concerns a wheel brake cylinder (10) having two end regions (12), between which a cylinder bore (16) extends, and an abutment surface (18) which is parallel to the cylinder bore (16) and supports a anchor plate (20) and bores (22) emerging from the abutment surface (18) for securing the wheel brake cylinder (10) on the anchor plate (20). Ducts (24, 26) for a supplying fluid and bleeding the cylinder bore (16) also emerge from the abutment surface (18). The abutment surface (18) has a plurality of depressions (28, 28', 28'') which each accommodate a projection (30, 30', 30'') of the anchor plate (20). One depression (28) is disposed all around the bleeding channel (26), and each of the two further depressions (28', 28'') is each disposed on one side of the fluid duct (24). When the wheel brake cylinder (10) is mounted on the anchor plate (20) the projections (30, 30', 30'') thereof can each penetrate one of the depressions (28, 28', 28'') such that the position of the wheel brake cylinder (10) is reliably determined so that subsequently securing screws can be screwed into the bores (22) without particular attention being necessary.
