Date Apr. 10, 1997To ensure pressure compensation and the replenishment function of a master cylinder, the present invention discloses the provision of supply channels configured as slits (40). The slits (40) are adequate to ensure pressure compensation and the replenishment action when the brake system is bled. Due to their large cross-section, the slits permit a large fluid flow which is required, for example, to supply the pump in brake systems which independently initiate a braking operation.
