Abstract:
The invention concerns a windscreen wiper blade with a support frame composed of a main yoke and a plurality of subsidiary yokes arranged in cascade-like manner. The longitudinal side of the support frame facing the oncoming relative wind is provided with a wind deflector such that the oncoming relative wind increases the pressure of the wiper blade rubber against the windscreen to be wiped. The object of the invention is to improve the wiping quality of the windscreen wiper blade whilst simplifying its structure and assembly. To this end, the wind deflector (1) is divided into a plurality of members (1a, 1b, 1c) substantially transversely to its longitudinal direction, each of these members being produced integrally with the main yoke (3) or with another yoke of the support frame (2). At the divisions (9) between the members (1a, 1b, 1c) of the wind deflector (1) the faces of the relevant members (1a, 1b, 1c) face one another with as small a gap as possible.
