Heading H1B An electrode member suitable for fuel cells comprises at least one of iron, manganese, cobalt, nickel, vanadium, titanium, chromium or zinc oxide, mixed titanium-iron, zinc-lead, or zinc-iron oxide, or uranium dioxide at least partially dissolved in an oxygen ion-conducting metal oxide. Fig. 4 shows a fuel cell employing a tubular solid electrolyte member 11, e.g. of stabilized zirconia, having electrode members 12, at least one of which is according to the invention, on the inner and outer surfaces.
