1410968 Cradles for use in lifting; pallets MODULBAU AG 22 Dec 1972 [2 Feb 1972] 59515/72 Heading B8H [Also in Division B5] A concrete panel 39 (Fig. 5) is transported on a girder 30 lifted by an inverted U-frame 112 that maintains the panel vertically by plates 140. Tubes 114 of the U-frame enclose tension ties 116 having crossbolts 117 (Fig. 5a) at their lower ends, that lock under baffles 128, 129 positioned in cavities in the girder ends. Locking is effected by rotation of the tension ties 116 by handles 115 (Fig. 5). In a second embodiment (Fig. 3) a pallet comprises a wheeled chassis 194 supporting eight channel members 71 and driven by a rack and pinion 174, 184. A girder 60 supporting a concrete panel 53 is slid along a channel member 62 and on to one of the pallet channel members 71, guided by supports 85, 72, 73. Girder 60 is moved by a piston or rack. Fig. 3 shows two pallets 194 adjacent pairs of moulds 54, 55 (see Divisions B4-B5).
