Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS4860124
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
1383096 Dye compositions CIBA-GEIGY AG 16 Nov 1972 [19 Nov 1971 (2)] 53028/72 Heading D1B Dyestuff preparations consist of 5 to 80% by weight of a disperse dye having a maximum particle size of 10Á, 5 to 200% by weight relative to the amount of dyestuff of a low palymeric compound i.e. having a molecular weight of at most 10,000 soluble in halogenated hydrocarbons and which contains at least two -CO- groups bound to at most two substituted nitrogen atoms and 20 to 95% by weight relative to the total weight of the dye preparation of an inert, non-volatile organic compound soluble in halogenated hydrocarbons having a boiling point above 200‹C and containing in addition to carbon and hydrogen, halogen atoms or oxygen bound only to carbon atoms and having a molecular weight of 100 to 10,000. Low polymeric compounds are polyureas, polyamide and polyvinylpyrrolidone, paraffin oil, polystyrene, polyethylene wax and beeswax being used as non-volatile organic compound. The compositions are obtained by grinding the components optionally in presence of halogenated hydrocarbons which is later removed. Polyacrylonitrile, polyesters, polyamides and cellulose acetate may be dyed with the above compositions in halogenated hydrocarbon liquids.
