Abstract:
1,244,829. Pick-up cartridge mounts. PICKERING & CO., Inc. 29 May, 1970 [13 Aug., 1969], No. 26052/70. Heading G5R. Pick-up cartridge 12, which is normally mounted on a tone arm by screws passing through slots 28 in mounting bracket 26 to tapped holes in the arm, is more simply mounted by the interposition of a platform 10 of e.g. nylon material between cartridge and arm. The platform is formed with resilient walls 36, between which bracket 26 snap fits, and upwardly directed spring lugs 46, 48 which are split to allow a compressed fit in the tone arm screw holes.
