Japanese Patent JPS4941705
Kind Code:
B1
Abstract:
1286974 Transistorized waveform generators; cathode-ray tube circuits IWATSU ELECTRIC CO Ltd 22 Aug 1969 [23 Aug 1968] 41936/69 Headings H3T and H4T In an automatic synchronizing system (e.g. for a sampling oscilloscope) the differentiated output of the sampler is used to control the frequency of the sampling pulses in such a way that the differentiated output tends to zero, an amplifier or attenuator being included in the system having a transmission characteristic inversely proportioned to the value of the differentiated waveform. As shown in Fig. 3, the output of such an amplifier or attenuator 18 is fed to a staircase generator comprising diodes 4 ... 6, FET 10 and transistors 11, 14 and which operates by feedback via capacitor 9. The output is reset by a circuit 17 each time it reaches a predetermined value.
